Transportation Geotechnical Engineer
Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a geotechnical, engineering company who is hiring for a detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate has the demonstrated ability to oversee and ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications combined with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
Responsibilities:
- They will be responsible for designing and overseeing geotechnical projects, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory standards.
- This person will conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments.
- They will prepare detailed engineering reports and design plans.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other geotechnical staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil or related engineering fields.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Transportation industry experience required, NCDOT experience is preferred.
- Understanding of deep foundation design principles
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
