Accentuate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Time & Attendance Payroll Specialist for a part time role with one of our clients in Durham, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company’s success while enjoying a flexible schedule. As a Part-Time Time and Attendance Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining precise time and attendance records. You will collaborate with various departments to guarantee compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage time and attendance systems to accurately record employee hours, including data entry, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping records with employee schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Process payroll in a timely manner, calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to timekeeping or payroll and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Generate and analyze reports on attendance, overtime, and payroll data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate processing of payroll and adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll processing procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll processing and time and attendance management preferred.
- Must have ADP experience
- String excel skills requited Pivot Tables and V-lookups
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Available to work onsite 2 days per week
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Fair Labor Standards Act, tax laws) is a plus.
