Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring and completing the required paperwork for inbound and outbound containers.
• Coordinating with 3PLs and getting carrier rate/quote data.
• Determine most efficient and economical routing and mode of transportation.
• Correspondence with freight carriers to ensure quality of service as well as pricing.
• Schedule and coordinate domestic freight deliveries and overseas containers.
• Provide and assist tracking and tracing information for customer service when necessary.

Requirements:

• College graduate preferred with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Operations Management.
• 3 years’ experience in transportation of small package, LTL, consolidation, and FTL shipping methods.
• Knowledge of standard practices related to distribution logistics.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Software (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Familiar with or possess technical aptitude related to logistics management.
• High level of proficiency in written communications.
• Ability to interact positively, professionally and with a sense of urgency with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Strong sense of Professionalism.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems.
