Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Technical Services Manager for one of our clients in Fuquay, NC. The Technical Services Representative is a supervisory level role overseeing the day-to-day operations and activities of the technical services department. The Manager in this role will lead a team of 6-8 technical service agents that specialize in assisting customers troubleshoot equipment issues while maintaining strong customer relationships. This is an onsite M-F direct role with benefits and leadership and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manages a staff of technical service representatives and ensures that customers are retained, satisfied, and that their needs are fulfilled.
- Responsible for designing and implementing improved process or operational policies. Recommends changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs. Develop/update policies, procedures, and operating structure.
- Responsible for the service training to ensure the training schedule is achieved for manufacturing sales reps and dealers.
- Participate in specific industry shows to better understand and exceed customer expectations of overall service and provide support for the sales department.
- Oversee warranty administration to monitor cost. Travel to customers as needed.
- Directly supervises 6 to 8 employees in Tech Service/Parts.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; address complaints and solving problems.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in working in food service equipment or similar industry
- 5+ years managing Service Reps
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures
- Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- 5 years of industry experience preferred.
