This position requires a highly skilled professional with a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring robust security measures, and managing system upgrades and migrations. This role also involves evaluating new technologies, developing disaster recovery plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions, including cloud integrations, network design, and system deployments.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and optimizations to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain security protocols to protect data integrity, privacy, and system reliability.
- Conduct system and network audits, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure seamless operations in case of emergencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in system administration, with expertise in Windows Server, Office 365, VMware, identity management, and cloud technologies.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and system efficiency.
- Hands-on experience managing virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- In-depth knowledge of network configurations, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, CompTIA Server+, CCNP, or CISA are a plus.
