Accentuate Staffing is working with a client that is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team and help them maintain their company’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as experience with cybersecurity.
In this position, you’ll work directly with the IT Manager and respond to end-user technology-related issues/requests to improve the overall health of the company’s technology infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Identify, investigate, and fix technical problems with the company’s computers, networks, and servers.
- Ensure and maintain that the ITAM data in the CMDB is always correct and up-to-date.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of desktop standard images, from creation to deployment.
- Configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize all network and server equipment, telecommunication equipment, cybersecurity equipment, data storage and backup equipment, services, systems, and infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, incidents, and request resolutions.
- Maintain accurate configuration data for network and server assets
- Keep up-to-date documentation of the network topology, network and server environment configuration, and other relevant systems.
Requirements:
- Experience in professional environment diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues related to endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VoIP phones, printers/scanners, and other peripherals).
- Experience hardening security in Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with detecting, investigating, responding to, and containing cybersecurity threats.
- Functional knowledge and understanding of applicable hardware, software, and systems platforms.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Additional certifications are a plus: CompTIA Network+ Certification, CompTIA Security+ Certification, and Microsoft Certified Professional – Windows Server (MSCE/MSCA)
