Steel Warehouse Associate
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a distributor in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Warehouse Associate to work in their Steel Warehouse Monday-Friday 6am-4pm. This is a contract-hire opportunity working outside as well as inside.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Associate will receive and fill orders for customers
- Associate will operate overhead crane and/or forklift to pull orders
- Associate will check in trucks for loading
- Associate will load steel beams onto trucks
- Associate will take accurate measurements of loads
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a good work ethic and be comfortable with heavy lifting handling steel products
- Candidates must be comfortable working outside and inside
- Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift a plus
- Candidates must have previous experience reading a tape measure
- Candidates with steel experience a plus
- Candidates must be comfortable working overtime
