Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer for the construction industry who is looking for a Sit-Down Forklift Operator/Load Builder to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire position working 7am-4pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. Pay is $14-$16/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will operate sit down forklifts weighing up to 10,000 pounds
- Candidate will perform load building by determining appropriate weight, placement, and composition of each load
- Candidate will load and unload materials onto pallets, trucks, vehicles, etc.
- Candidate will perform various other tasks as directed
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift required
- Candidates with Engineered Wood Product experience preferred
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 plus pounds as needed, and stand for long periods of time
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Work in a non-climate controlled environment; inside/outside
