In this role, you’ll join the Application Services team to provide support for Policy Admin platforms and configurable systems. We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner who will help develop and improve our Policy Administration systems, workflows, and other key applications. You’ll work closely with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project completion. If you’re a meticulous and driven Product Owner or Business Analyst with a passion for technology who enjoys collaborating with diverse teams and translating business needs into tangible results, then this is a great opportunity for you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track system requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with various teams (e.g., IT, offshore development, QA) to ensure project success.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels and departments.
  • Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Master assigned systems and function as the primary point of contact for end-user inquiries.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure comprehensive and user-centric system requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Lead project implementation, keeping stakeholders informed through regular updates on progress, potential challenges, and solutions.
  • Partner with the development team to enhance the policy administration system and deliver new product builds.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in agile IT environments within requirements gathering and project management, application support, software development, or database development.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise project management tools, software development methodologies, and SDLC best practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across diverse audiences.
  • Experience in the insurance domain preferred.
