Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a pharmaceutical CDMO who is hiring for a Senior Principal Scientist. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits, working onsite. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead a team in optimizing DOE towards the pharmaceutical and commercial manufacturing of APIs.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading DOE, optimizing APIs from beginning stages all the way to commercial manufacturing.
2. Guiding various levels of scientists in experimental efforts for DOE, conducting weekly team meetings with clients, providing continuous updates.
3. Efficiently using work time to tackle multiple projects both independently and on matrix-based teams.
4. Producing research and development summary reports at the completion of each DOE project.
Requirements:
1. Expert in all aspects of DOE software for design, modeling, and assessment of data for late-stage programs.
2. Extensive drug substance experience with APIs, including scale-ups from early stage to commercial production.
3. 8-14+ years of lab-based experience (dependent upon highest level of education) in chemical or pharmaceutical process development.
4. Knowledge of organic syntheses methodologies as well as analytical and spectroscopic techniques.
