Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fantastic Foam Manufacturer who is hiring for a Senior Manufacturing Chemist. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits, working onsite in Angier, NC. The ideal candidate has the demonstrated experience formulating water-based systems using surfactants and/or solvents.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting daily manufacturing, quality assurance and technical service activities.
- Initiate quality control of raw materials, ensuring quality of final product, testing and making recommendations for any raw material issues.
- Performing external visits to support trials, testing and demonstrations.
- Support supply chain, identifying suitable local materials for foam manufacturing.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering combined with 3+ years of experience in formulating water-based systems utilizing surfactants and solvents.
- Extensive knowledge of wet chemical analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing processes, prototype testing, instrumentation and measuring techniques.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suites.
