Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing leader in the food industry who is hiring a Sales Manager to join their team. This position requires previous Food Sales experience and offers excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Manager will build, grow, and maintain customer relationships
- Manager will identify and grow business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals
- Manager will maintain a strong knowledge of current market conditions and trends
- Manager will maintain and grow strong relationships with grocery chains, wholesalers, and distributors
- Manager will prepare proposals for campaigns and promotional activities
- Manager will coordinate with Buying, Supply Chain, and Finance functions on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 plus years of Sales or Business Development background managing food retail accounts
- Candidates must be proficient in strategic sales planning, business expansion, and account management
- Candidates must be comfortable traveling to food shows and customers across the US during the week
- Candidates with a relevant Bachelors degree preferred
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Sales software and MS Office Suite
- Candidates must be comfortable working in the Office when there is no travel
