Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an innovative pharmaceutical company who is hiring for a Regenerative Medicine Lab Technician. This is a contract opportunity, working onsite. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting large scale lung culture in 2D and 3D by regularly performing large batch media preparation along with setting up analytical assays.
- Reporting results and taking routine samples from in-process culture monitoring.
- Support activities for process development for tissue engineered products by performing large-scale lung cells culture in 2D and 3D on a daily basis.
- Participate in post process analytics via imaging tissue sections as well as the generation and maintenance of all master and working cell banks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Cellular or Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science or related Scientific field.
- 1+ years of experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and data software.
- Preference for experience with flow cytometry, molecular assays, cellular assays and fluorescence microscopy.
