Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to work for a growing biotechnology company in the RTP. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, quality control experience with reagents and a molecular biology background.
Responsibilities:
- Performing quality control tests methods on reagents in a clinical laboratory environment
- Driving continuous improvements within the laboratory, investigating and resolving issues
- Contributing to new product and process developments to ensure quality of commercial materials is consistent
- Participate with cross-functional teams to create and implement quality testing methods, SOPs and stability data that address possible quality issues prior to their use in the laboratory
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related scientific field
- Reagent quality control experience
- 2-4 years of molecular biology experience in a laboratory setting
- IVD experience, specifically with reagents and assays, is strongly preferred
