Quality Assurance Coordinator
Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to work remotely Monday – Friday beginning in December and going until June 2025. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will ensure that staff meet documentation expectations and quality standards while achieving process metrics. The Quality Assurance Coordinator is a contracted, non-clinician role that works in collaboration with the Director to support the multi- disciplinary team approach of patient care by meeting key performance indicators of closing care gaps and other organizational mandates as designated. This is a remote opportunity but the employee must live in NC.
Responsibilities:
Operations
- Ensure documentation quality.
- Assist with pulling reports.
- Adhere to Privacy and Security policies to ensure that patient and company data is properly safeguarded.
- Abide by department guidelines, company policies, and HIPAA regulations.
- Perform all other duties as requested.
- Attend Departmental meetings and/or other events as required.
- Understand and uphold company goals, objectives, and standards.
Quality Improvement
- Review Member Care Coordinator documentation for adherence to quality standards.
- Provide Feedback to Member Care Coordinator team on ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Complete Quality performance audits.
- Collaborate with appropriate leadership and team members to address documentation/quality concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 or 4-year degree in health-related field preferred
- Knowledge of and experience working in patient or clinical data systems
- Computer skills required including various office software and the internet; experience with MS Office software is required and must be proficient with Excel
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Organizational and time management skills
- Sensitivity to diversity of cultures, language barriers, health literacy and educational levels
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Responds to change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives
- Able to shift strategy or approach in response to the demands of a situation
