QC Technician
Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fantastic company who is hiring for a Quality Control Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity, offering competitive pay, while working onsite. The ideal candidate has the ability to perform routine testing and maintenance while following SOPs as well as recording all data and evaluating the results.
Responsibilities:
- Executes both chemical and physical tests required for the QC of copper and metal powder products.
- Performs instrument calibrations and utilizes micrometers.
- Efficiently uploads test results and releases lots to shipping.
- Adheres to SOPs, contributing to SOP revising as needed.
- Continuously maintains a clean, safe and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of Lab Technician experience is necessary.
- High School Diploma, Associates degree, Bachelor degree or Certificate from a college or technical school is required.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills and troubleshoot problems independently.
- Experience performing calibrations and using micrometers is a plus.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suites.
- Ability to work third shift from 4PM to 4AM on a rotating shift as follows: 4 days on/3 days off then 3 days on/4 days off
