Do you have experience working in textiles specifically with fabric?  Would you like to be able to start your weekend on Friday @ 11AM?  Accentuate Staffing has a direct hire position with a client in Clayton for a Production Supervisor.  The role is accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the fabric cutting department.  Schedule for the role is Monday – Thursday 7AM – 4:30PM and 7-11AM on Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities of the production area, including quality assurance, inventory control and customer service.
  • Oversee production team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
  • Meet regularly with Plant Manager to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
  • Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
  • Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility
  • Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
  • Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
  • Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
  • Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of Production Supervisor experience; Fabric is a MUST
  • Knowledge of production software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • ERP experience (preferably Baan) in a manufacturing environment
