Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Durham area recruit for a Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a 1st shift, direct hire opportunity, working Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the production team
- Supervisor will have between 10-15 direct reports, to include Assemblers and Team Leads
- Supervisor will be responsible for interviewing and training new hires, as well as conducting performance reviews and implementing any corrective action plans as necessary
- Supervisor will work closely with planning to ensure available resources and manage lead times
- Supervisor will be responsible for continuous improvement as well as implementing 5S systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years production supervisory experience required
- Previous assembly experience highly preferred
- Must have experience with lean manufacturing
- Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
