Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading commercial appliance manufacturing company who is looking for an Operations Manager to manage fabrication and assembly operations. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday with some overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Manager will prepare annual budgets using market forecasts and manage labor costs
- Manager will schedule production for optimal workflow
- Manager will analyze current policies and procedures and lead process improvement efforts
- Manager will oversee safety, resolve issues, complete audits, communicate policy changes, etc.
- Manager will work closely with inventory management team to ensure raw materials are in stock for production
Requirements:
- Must have 5 + years of operations management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with customers and vendors on a daily basis
- Candidates must be computer savvy. Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
- Candidates must have a solid understanding of lean manufacturing and other process improvement methodologies
- Must be to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
