Accentuate Staffing is searching for an Operations Auditor for a healthcare company in North Carolina. This position is a direct hire, remote position, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, consulting with management on risk, control, and compliance matters, and conducting audit and advisory engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of materials required to facilitate risk assessments
- Develop and/or assist in creating materials for workforce education and awareness training programs related to risk management and internal controls.
- Support audit and advisory engagements focused on evaluating high-risk areas to access the adequacy of policies, procedures, and controls and, where appropriate, compared to industry best practices and control frameworks
- Provide assistance in maintaining risk management methodologies, tools, templates, internal websites, and reports.
- Collaborates with management to strengthen internal controls and/or develop corrective action plans to remediate risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology, audit, or financial related field required
- 1-3 years’ experience in auditing, risk management and/or compliance
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Experience conducting risk-based financial, operational and/or technical audits
- Strong analytical, project management, and consulting skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and management.
