Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing developer and manufacturer in the food industry who is hiring for Mix Operators to work 1st shift. This is a contract-hire position working 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Mix Operator will operate mixing and blending machines
- Operator will weigh all materials in accordance with each formula
- Operators will collect samples and perform laboratory testing
- Operators will add chemicals or ingredients and use various devices for mixing
- Operators will document operational data to include temperatures, list of ingredients, and processing time
- Operator will identify and troubleshoot any equipment that are under performing
- Operator will adhere to all safety guidelines and GMPs
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED
- Candidate must have at least one year of prior experience working with manufacturing machinery
- Candidates must have prior knowledge in batch processing
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Candidates must be able to work in tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes
- Candidates must have a good attention to detail
- Candidates must be able to pass a drug screening and a criminal background check
