Accentuate Staffing is working with a globally recognized and fast growing medical device company in RTP. The company manufactures, distributes, and supports class I medical devices. The ideal candidate will be a hands on tinkerer who enjoys troubleshooting and working through electrical and computer issues!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides remote support responding to external and internal technical inquiries, over phone and email.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves customer issues.
  • Works to resolve open cases in an effective and timely manner.
  • Maintains an accurate record of all communications through case ticketing system.
  • Creates repair quotes and works with logistics team on RMA cases.
  • Dispatches calls to other team members to keep a balanced workload.
  • Collaborates with the Service and Logistics Team to organize the technical support activities.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in BioMedical Engineering or similar degree preferred
  • 1 – 5 years of related technical support or engineering experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware and networking systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
  • Linux experience and a knowledge of IT and networking environments is preferred
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
