Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturer in the metal industry who is hiring a Materials Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Materials Manager will manage warehouse activities to include shipping, receiving, logistics
- Manager will lead production planning, material requirement planning, and inventory control
- Manager will increase efficiency, incorporate Lean techniques to improve inventory control and maintain on time delivery and performance
- Manager will work with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, managing the production schedule
- Manager will oversee raw material levels
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 plus years experience in Inventory Control and Planning
- Candidates must have a background driving Lean principles
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control and purchasing systems
- A Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management preferred, or equivalent experience
