Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing client of ours in the Morrisville area recruit for a Manufacturing Engineer/CAM Programmer to join their team. This is a direct hire, first shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily production activities to meet customer demands.
  • Address machinery uptime issues and implement long-term, cost-effective solutions.
  • Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment.
  • Assist in achieving plant quality objectives.
  • Implement engineering changes and variations from design specifications for new and existing products.
  • Analyze products and processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
  • Provide on-the-floor support, which may involve standing for long periods.
  • Assist production by providing tooling, fixtures, programming (CAM), and standardizing methods.
  • Collaborate with QC and engineering to establish and maintain process capability and control methods.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Expertise in CNC machining and programming for Turning and Milling; Grinding experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of component manufacturing and sales, with the ability to learn company specific product lines.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality management principles, OSHA regulations, and shop safety standards.
