Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a full time Loan Accountant for a client in Raleigh, NC. The Loan Accountant provides support of accounting operations in the areas of loan accounting, internal controls system administration and cash management.. This is a temporary assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise various accounting activities related to loans and general accounting.
- Serve as the administrator for depository accounts.
- Verify all incoming ACH wires for associations and communicate with appropriate branches.
- Ensures daily balancing of branch activity and disbursement accounts as well as monitors and manages funds in all other cash depository accounts.
- Completes bank account and various loan accounting related GL reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics or Finance preferred
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to complete and/or supervise complex finance and accounting tasks.
- Experience in the preparation of special projects, internal/external reporting, and complex financial analyses.
- Maintain excellent customer service with internal and external customers.
