Accentuate Staffing has teamed up with a leading provider of medical technology solutions that improve patients’ well-being worldwide. We’re seeking a skilled Linux-based Infrastructure Engineer to join their team working remotely out of their Morrisville, NC office. Responsibilities:
- Deliver stable IT solutions, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with IT professionals, vendors, and decision-makers to provide technology solutions that benefit the business
- Perform operational tasks, including server provisioning, upgrades, patching, changes, and testing on Linux-based infrastructure
- Develop and maintain documentation for operational best practices and systems maintenance
- Identify and address technical or operational risks and inefficiencies with Linux-based IT systems
- Plan and implement a support transition strategy for new system implementations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
- Firm understanding of IT best practices and frameworks such as ITIL
- Technical areas of expertise should include and not be limited to Linux-based infrastructure, Bash or Python scripting and automation, server virtualization, and networking with VMware or Nutanix, and security best practices
- Experience using tools for change management
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex technical issues
