Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in the Kenly area who is hiring an Injection Molding Technician to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Install, secure, and adjust injection molds according to production schedules.
- Inspect molds before installation and ensure proper handling and storage.
- Set machine parameters, including pressure, temperature, and cycle times.
- Notify the Shift Supervisor when the machine is ready for operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve setup issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with injection molding or similar technical roles preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive movements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
