Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Human Resource Manager  for an opening with one of our clients in the Washington, DC area.  This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.  The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing HR functions, including policy development, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration. This role collaborates with leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals, fosters a positive workplace culture, and ensures compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and training to meet organizational needs.
  • Advise senior management on staffing, recruitment, retention, and performance issues.
  • Monitor employee relations, compensation, performance reviews, and benefits management.
  • Promote employee engagement, culture, and work-life balance.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring employee understanding and utilization.
  • Lead HR administration and budgeting, ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Assist with talent strategy and staffing needs, and ensure effective communication with all levels of staff.
  • Perform various HR Administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, including payroll, benefits, and recruitment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Must have an open door policy and a willingness to work with employees while ensuring a safe space to voice questions or concerns
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Regular travel to offices in DC, MI, and NC. Ability to lift, bend, and sit for extended periods.
