Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Director of Human Resources for a manufacturing client in Clayton, NC. The HR Director will be responsible helping facilitate and execute the overall people and culture strategy, ensuring the right talent, processes and procedures across the entire business. The ideal candidate is a leader who has experience working in a dynamic environment with expertise working in manufacturing, marketing, product development and sales environments with a Human Resources lens.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate policies related to compensation, benefits, performance management, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Align HR strategies with overall business objectives to enhance company performance.
  • Partner with HR teams across the organization to ensure consistency in policies and initiatives.
  • Oversee HRIS and payroll systems to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including candidate screening, background checks, interview management, and job offer processes, while maintaining budget alignment.
  • Ensure all HR policies comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, consulting legal counsel as necessary.
  • Serve as a culture ambassador, promoting company values and a positive workplace environment.
  • Design and deliver training programs, with a focus on manufacturing team members.
  • Develop compensation strategies, including salary adjustments, promotions, and annual review processes.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all HR-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 5-7 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred PHR, SHRM, or equivalent HR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies across multi-state organizations.
  • Expertise in benefits design and administration.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with leadership and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing HR teams and direct reports.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
