Accentuate Staffing is working with a leading global technology company seeking a talented Help Desk Technician to join their dynamic IT Shared Services team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

This client develops innovative solutions that revolutionize industrial processes and is located in the thriving tech hub of Cary, NC. In this role, you’ll join a collaborative and engaging work environment where you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside industry experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support to local and remote users for PCs, servers, network applications, software, and hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records within the Help Desk tracking system, generating reports on call volume and trends.
  • Manage patching, antivirus testing, and deployment processes.
  • Oversee desktop administration and deployment procedures, including setting up new equipment and supporting existing systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure optimal user experience.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma and 2-4 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Solid experience supporting network and desktop peripherals and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Expertise in current Windows operating systems, antivirus administration, and Windows patching processes (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager experience preferred).
  • Experience supporting the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is a must.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • A strong dedication to customer service and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
