Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing commercial furniture installation company in the Garner area recruit for Furniture Installation Technicians. These are contract to hire opportunities working from 6am or 7am to early/mid afternoon, with overtime opportunities in the evenings and on weekends. Pay ranges from $16-21/hr depending on furniture installation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Furniture Installation Technician will assist with the building and installation of commercial office furniture
- Technician will pull orders and load trucks for deliveries as well unload trucks at customer sites
- Technician will use various hand and power tools for assembly of the furniture
- Technician will follow diagrams and drawings to ensure proper installation
Requirements:
- Previous furniture installation experience a plus, but not required
- Background in moving or construction a plus
- Candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude, and be comfortable using different hand and power tools
- Candidate must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting with customers on a regular basis
- Must be comfortable lifting 70+ lbs continuously
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Valid NC Driver’s License and clean MVR preferred, but not required
