Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a rapidly growing biotechnology company in search of Molecular Lab Technicians. This is a contract opportunity, offering competitive pay working onsite. The ideal candidate has some experience or knowledge related to performing DNA extractions and the ability to track and manage sample movement through a clinical laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Processing samples in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Assisting the research and development team with the fractionation of samples.
- Centrifuging and separating blood layers.
- Performing DNA extractions.
- Correctly store and track samples through LIMS.
Requirements:
- Experience adhering to SOPs and company guidelines.
- Knowledge or experience of DNA extractions.
- 0 to 1+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of CLIA/CAP regulations in a laboratory environment.
