Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join our well established & publicly traded client located in RTP, NC. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering a HYBRID work schedule. The Financial Analyst must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand financial reports and budgets. Ability to conceptualize and translate the description of a business into numbers to challenge budget/reforecast assumptions.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of key financial drivers and trends. Assist with data gathering, consolidation, and standardized reporting during forecast and budget processes, including commentary. Provide detailed analysis used for reporting templates and management presentations
- Assist with preparation of quarterly variance analysis. Build and leverage relationship with Regional Finance and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure timely explanation of Income Statement and Balance Sheet variances versus plan including customer level detail
- Participate in development of quarterly board reports including presentation
- Support the Planning group to further automate reporting and analysis processes. Identify areas for streamlining the existing reporting process – analyze processes, reports and/or systems, identify opportunities for improvement, develop plans based on findings, and assist to implement changes
- Ad hoc financial analysis
- Manage all aspects of Capex reporting and tracking
- Serve as system lead of Company’s Planning software systems
Requirements:
- Four-year degree from an accredited College/University in Finance or Accounting
- Min of 1-2 years of experience in Public/Corporate Accounting or in a Corporate Financial Planning function
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under established deadlines
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
