Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a hybrid Finance Supervisor to join a global manufacturer in Wilson, NC. The Finance Supervisor will be responsible for supporting all North American facilities and have a dual role that will serve as the key finance business partner for South America origin as well as our Manufacturing services operations in North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the day-to-day accounting operations are performed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures as well as Local Statutory and US GAAP requirements.
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial close for the local South America entity and US Services
- Works closely with South America and US Services operations to understand actual performance, trends, and business opportunities. Recommends courses of action where appropriate
- Performs cost accounting for South America and US services.
- Prepares weekly cash flow projections.
- Develops monthly financial outlooks, Annual Operating and Strategic Plans in terms of P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow forecasting.
- Provides analytical support in the evaluation of business investment proposals and other ad hoc projects.
- Liaises with the Inventory Control and Logistics functions to ensure continuous business flow.
- Provides financial accounting support and guidance to the local Guatemala team as needed.
- Challenges existing processes related to operational efficiency, effectiveness of internal controls, and risk management. Recommends viable solutions for improvement.
- Oversees and follows up on internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Must be a self-starter, continuously challenge the status quo, and enjoy problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Requires ability to work in a multicultural team and tailor communication to non-native English speakers.
- Requires good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Requires ability to occasionally travel to South America (minimum 2 times per year) and once per month to operations in Winston Salem/King in NC
- 5+ years in an analytical finance role demonstrating an increase in responsibilities.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience in an ERP environment, SAP software work experience is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fluency in Spanish is encouraged.
