Accentuate staffing is assisting a residential property management company who is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity working 7am-3pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Facilities Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues in vacant residential units, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Technician will perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing/replacing doors, doorjambs, storm doors, and windows.
- Technician will replace tile, drywall, bulbs, and provide repairs to counters, cabinets, and flooring.
- Technician will repair or replace bathroom fixtures; unstop drains and commodes as needed.
- Technician will conduct maintenance and repairs on water heaters, including replacement when necessary.
- Technician will replace pipes and fittings, caulk around tubs, counters, showers, and sinks.
- Technician will assess and resolve issues with appliances such as refrigerators, ranges, heating systems, and air conditioners.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
