Accentuate Staffing has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant to cover a leave of absence beginning in January 2025 until May 2025. This role will support the Executive Director and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive-level support, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and discretion. This onsite role will involve calendar management, meeting coordination, special project assistance, and providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure seamless operations during the Executive Director’s leave of absence.

Responsibilities:

  • Board Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Board of Directors, providing timely and professional customer service. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and materials.
  • Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage the Executive Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and support meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing logistics to ensure smooth execution.
  • Special Projects: Assist with various organizational projects as assigned, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as drafting correspondence, maintaining records, and managing files.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an executive assistant or similar administrative role, preferably supporting senior leadership and boards.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Availability: Must be available to work onsite in Raleigh for the duration of the assignment.
