Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading tile and stone contractor in the Raleigh area recruit an Equipment Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 7am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with required on call hours.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain equipment inventory, including tracking, organizing, and ensuring availability of necessary equipment
- Assist with researching and selecting software options suited for managing equipment maintenance, inventory, logistics and GPS tracking
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate equipment and trailer deliveries
- Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance, including scheduling service appointments and communicating with technicians
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or repairs needed
- Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling, storage, and transportation of equipment
- Assist with administrative tasks related to equipment management, such as maintaining records, generating reports, and ordering supplies
- Manage a team of equipment repair technicians
Requirements:
- Previous experience in equipment management or a related field required
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report -Associate’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure efficient use of resources
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory tracking and budgeting purposes
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills for interacting with vendors, technicians, and internal staff
- Familiarity with stock management systems or software is a plus
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
