Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturer in the Apex area recruit an Entry Level Machinist to join their team. This is a 1st shift (8am-5pm), contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Machinist will work in a machine shop environment running CNC machines
- Machinist will be responsible for setting up and monitoring machinery
- Machinist will perform visual quality inspections on finished products
Requirements:
- Candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous machine operating experience a plus, but not required
- Candidate must be comfortable working in an ever-changing environment with short production runs
- Candidate must have strong attention to detail and previous experience taking measurements
- Candidate will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
