Electronic Maintenance Technician
Accentuate staffing is assisting a manufacturing company who is hiring an Electronic Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits working a 12-hour rotating day or night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and resolve equipment outages, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to identify and implement solutions.
- Technician will apply advanced electrical troubleshooting skills to resolve system failures and optimize performance.
- Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Siemens and GE PLC systems.
- Technician will communicate equipment performance updates and corrective actions with operators and maintenance planners.
- Technician will address issues involving low and medium voltage systems and components.
- Technician will support maintenance activities, including work orders, KPIs, and incident reports, to drive continuous improvement.
- Technician will conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) policies.
- Technician will participate in daily maintenance planning meetings to align priorities and scheduled repairs.
Requirements:
- Electronic Maintenance Technician must have an associate’s degree in a maintenance-related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Technician must have a minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably working with PLCs (Siemens)
- Technician must have proven knowledge of high-output motors, conveyor systems, and high-voltage systems.
- Technician must have a strong understanding of process management, asset capability, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technician must be comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) or TPM certification is a plus.
