Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technicians
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a rapidly growing electrical manufacturer who is looking for Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join their team. These are contract-hire position working 2nd shift hours. The position will require employees train on 1st shift for a few months before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly Technicians will assemble electrical and mechanical components on equipment
- Technician will cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires from component to component
- Technician will read and interpret parts instructions, blueprints, and work orders to assemble parts, tools, and components
- Technician will install components, units, subassemblies and wiring
- Technician will test, adjust, and repair electrical equipment
- Technician will build electric motors, computers, electronic control devices, hardware stacks, etc.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 3 + years electrical or mechanical assembly background
- Candidates must have strong attention to details and be able to follow blueprints and schematics
- Candidates must be proficient using hand and power tools to build mechanical components and to preparing wiring
- Candidates must be proficient verifying dimensions
- Candidates must have experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
