Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established electrical manufacturing company in the Knightdale area who is looking for an Electrical Field Service Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire working 1st shift with overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in a variety of settings, including industrial and commercial environments.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Prepare daily reports regarding project status, inventory usage, etc.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Electrical Field Service Technician or in a similar role.
- Associate degree or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field preferred
- Licensures and Certifications: Electrical technician, Electrical master, NETA or NICET certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to work 10 hours per day, and weekends as required
- Position will require travel at least once a month ranging from 2/3 days up to 1 week
