Administrative Coordinator
Accentuate Staffing has an immediate opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator with knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Laws to join an established manufacturing company in Durham, NC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that will be onsite Monday – Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of workers’ compensation claims, including filing, claim reviews, coordinating return-to-work processes, and handling light-duty assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Workers’ Compensation Management:
- Manage the workers’ compensation claims process from initial filing through resolution.
- Ensure timely reporting and follow-up on claims, keeping records up to date.
- Coordinate with insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and internal departments to facilitate the efficient processing of claims.
- Oversee the return-to-work process, including arranging light-duty assignments for injured employees.
- Review and analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant workers’ compensation laws and company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health, safety, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation management or a similar role in an EHS department.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of North Carolina workers’ compensation laws and processes is preferred.
