Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing client of ours in the Apex area recruit for an EHS Coordinator. This is a contract opportunity, working on 1st shift, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Investigate accidents and incidents, including root cause analysis
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as CPR, first aid, and OSHA regulations
- Monitor compliance with EPA regulations
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns
- Fabricate reports on safety metrics and incidents
Requirements:
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and regulations
- Strong report writing skills
- Experience in training development
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis
