Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Counter Sales Associate for a supply company located in Youngsville, NC. This role offers the opportunity to provide excellent customer service and support in a dynamic retail environment. The Counter Sales Associate will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient operations. If you have experience in sales, knowledge of building materials, and strong communication skills, we encourage you to apply. This is a full time, temp to hire position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to retail customers via walk-in, telephone, or email.
- Assist customers with inquiries on product selections, pricing, availability, and handle refunds/exchanges.
- Code and input customer orders, pricing information and additional data into the computer system.
- Provide material estimates and quotes to customers.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints, forwarding complex issues to senior staff for resolution.
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required and at least six months sales-related experience.
- Knowledge of building materials, applications, related equipment, and/or the construction industry is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
