Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a global manufacturer for a Control Room Operator on night shift. The position will work 8PM – 8AM on a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background including production, operations, and sanitation. To be considered applicants MUST have prior experience in food, pharmaceutical and/or chemical manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Collect processing samples.
- Operate forklift (forks & clamps); load/unload trucks/bins; picking raw materials from inventory.
- Identify, apply, store chemicals throughout the facility.
- Clean equipment and building; trash disposal; changing filters, adding filter aides, checking clarity.
- Add chemicals to tanks during CIP.
- Operate pumps, valves, and pneumatic presses.
- Complete processing paperwork; data entry
- Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering Personnel to address production issues.
Requirements:
- HSD/GED
- Understanding of GMP’s, food safety and HACCP
- Mechanical knowledge of pumps and values highly desired
- Ability to work in cold (22C) and Hot (56C) conditions.
- Previous sanitation experience preferred (using cleaning chemicals, pressure hoses etc.
- Prior experience in food, pharma, or chemical manufacturing environments REQUIRED.
