Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturing company in Durham who is looking for a Temporary/Contract Accountant for the next few months. This individual MUST HAVE SAP experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly financial closing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly reporting.
- Prepare and post monthly accounting entries to the ERP system.
- Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare balance confirmations and reconcile quarterly AR and AP accounts.
- Assist with physical asset inventory.
- Adheres to compliance to company, tax, regulatory, and governance activities.
- Provide support to departmental projects as needed.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Accounting and 0 to 5 years experience in an Accounting Role.
- SAP experience REQUIRED
- Experience in a process manufacturing accounting environment highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exhibit a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong follow-up and attention to detail in a fast-paced operations environment are required.
