Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client with an immediate need for a Consumer Collections Specialist role in Raleigh! This is a Monday-Friday temp to hire opportunity. This is a great position for individuals with established consumer collections and customer service call center experience!
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile delinquent accounts with multiple collection efforts
- Make outbound calls regarding delinquent accounts
- Identify and escalate priority issues regarding delinquent accounts
- Operate under the debt collection guidelines per state law
- Meet daily outbound call goals to assigned facilities
- Document all calls according to division standard operating procedures
- Adhere to company and division handbook policies and procedures
- Ensure monthly specified roles/responsibilities are completed within the deadlines given
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Accurate data entry and typing skills
- Prior Collection experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Tenacious with a pleasant demeanor
- Handle fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Time management skills
- Ability to sit for periods of time while on the telephone
- Team oriented with the desire to collaborate
