Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an innovative biotechnology startup in efforts to hire a Computational Toxicologist III. This is a direct hire opportunity, working remote.
Responsibilities:
- Solving real-world chemical risk-assessment challenges by executing groundbreaking scientific research in PBPK modeling.
- Planning, designing, developing and applying PBPK and pharmacokinetic models, including IVIVE.
- Utilizing knowledge of bioinformatics, pharmacokinetics, biological models, data science and biostatistics in efforts to support human safety and risk assessment of chemicals and drugs.
- Developing computational pipelines for implementing dosimetry models in scientific programming languages such as R and python.
Requirements:
- MS or PhD in scientific/engineering field.
- Minimum research experience of two years, post-graduate.
- Extensive experience developing, parameterizing and validating physiologically based PBPK modeling.
- Familiar with common simulation languages used in PBPK modeling such as; Berkeley Madonna, PKSim, GastroPlus, and/or Matlab.
- Proficiency using R, python, JavaScript and MySQL to solve computational challenges.
