Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer of building materials who is looking for a CNC Saw Operator to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating CNC cutting equipment to cut materials.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
- Selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and settings for each job to achieve precise cuts.
- Loading materials onto the CNC saw and ensuring proper alignment.
- Monitoring the cutting process to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and conducting basic troubleshooting.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC cutting equipment in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision to ensure accurate cuts.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
