Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join an established, cutting-edge medical tech company. This is a full-time, permanent position and will allow for full remote. Prior experience with MS Azure but also with virtualization (VMware) and Networking/Security will be needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage overarching product/platform architectures and ensure design and development of all projects follow the architectural vision
  • Conduct analysis, design and implementation of infrastructure and cloud data center solutions including computing, networking, routing and security
  • Design and support solutions in cloud and virtualized computing environments with and understanding of hybrid cloud architectures
  • Develop and deploy automation to ensure consistency and quality
  • Partner professionally with business groups and resources across organizations to achieve goals and objectives
  • Act as lead architect on projects to guide and deliver successful results
  • Successfully communicate, evangelize and implement the architectural vision across teams
  • Provide technical leadership and direction on projects with a high level of complexity
  • Collaborate with project managers in the development of detailed project plans
  • Assistance with issues escalated from downstream support teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years in Information Technology.
  • Certification in at least one of the following areas is preferred
    • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
    • VMware (VCP)
    • Security (CISSP)
  • Working knowledge of SOX and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements
  • Firm understanding of IT best practices and frameworks such as ITIL and Agile
  • Ability to solve complex problems with limited supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees and vendors at all levels of the business
  • Ability to lead a technical team in the development of systems requirements, design, and delivery
  • Understands future technology trends and relationships to business needs
  • Proficient with productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
  • Experience producing technical documentation including functional requirements, design specifications, work instructions, and installation qualifications
  • Ability to coordinate technical resources across multiple locations to accomplish goals
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues
